Change of some physicochemical properties during storage of zirconium phosphate modified by sulfosalicylic acid

Description

A change in physico-chemical properties has been investigated during storage of zirconium phosphate modified with sulphosalicylic acid. It has been shown that thickening takes place during storage of H-form of ionite of α- and β-modifications. This is accompanied with a decrease in sorption ability towards ions of lead and iron (3); in α-modification the content of free water also decreases. The storage of α-modification in Pb-form is accompanied with a lesser decrease of exchange capacity with respect to iron (3) ions whereas capacity of β-modification increases as compared with H-form
