Investigation of molybdenomanganese arsenic acid in aqueous solution
Description
The system As5-Mn2-Mo6 has been studied by the method of trichromatic complement and spectrophotometrically. It has been established that in this system over the region of pH = 1-2, one absorbing particle, molybdenomanganesearsenic acid (MMAA), is mainly formed. The ratio of atoms, As:Mn:Mo=1:1:11, in heteropolyanion (HPA) is determined. The diagrams of MMAA formation are constructed. The data obtained by two spectrophotometric methods have been compared. Ultraviolet spectra of ternary HPA have been studied and compared with the spectra of molybdenoarsenic acid
