Nonlinear interference effects and ion dynamics in the kinetic theory for stark broadening of the multiion spectral lines in a dense plasma
Description
The influence of nonlinear interference effects and motion of perturbing plasma particles on the shape of line La contour is studied. The set of equations for the density matrix is solved in the static field of plasma ions and in the nonstationary field simulated by means of molecular dynamics. The calculations are performed for hydrogen-like Ar ions set in the environment of Ar and Kr nuclei and protons. The regions of varying for plasma parameters, where the involvment of nonlinear interference effects and ion dynamics influence essentially on the shape of line contour, are found. The results of comparison with the calculation data of other authors are given. 45 refs., 6 figs., 1 tab
