Distribution asymmetry and helicity of electrons of the μ-decay in the framework of one-particle exchange models and the restrictions for the masses of the intermediate particles and muon neutrino

Description

The μ-decay is considered within the framework of one-particle exchange in W-B- and X-models. For each model a general expression for the distribution of polarized electrons (positrons) produced by the decay of polarized μ-mesons during their flight is given. The masses of the intermediate particles and of the muonic neutrino were taken into account. Formulae were derived for the parameters of the asymmetry distribution (xi, delta) and for the helicity of the electrons (xi'). The limitations for the masses of Dsub(μ) and W, B and X-bosons, which follow from the experimental values of xi, delta and xi', were analyzed
