Description

The present study demonstrates a simple, rapid and sensitive Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetric (DP-ASV) procedure for the determination of lead at nano-gram levels in zircaloy-2 samples after successfully masking zirconium by ammonium citrate buffer. An online software programme is used for the accurate determination of peak currents. Lead concentration is calculated using standard addition technique. Preliminary results of lead are within ± 6% at ppb level in 0.25 M ammonium citrate of pH 2.5
