Calculation of some nuclear properties in 164-166 Er
Description
We consider, for doubly even nuclei 164-166Er, Energy levels , Deformation parameters b0,b2 and Quadrupole moments Q0, Q2+ and the electric quadrupole transition probability B(E2) between the ground state and first excited 2+ state.These nuclear properties are calculated using the proton-neutron interacting boson approximation(IBA-2). The results obtained for 164-166Er are reasanably good agreement with previous experimental and teoretical values
