Hot-gas duct in a high-temperature reactor
Description
The claim refers to an annular arrangement which is installed below a steam reformer in a hot-gas duct, forming the connection with the HTGR, in order to achieve a uniform temperature profile thus avoiding local overheating. Close to the steam reformer, other heat exchangers utilizing the process heat are arranged. To the inner wall of the annulus, radiation-absorbing substances (e.g. boron) are added. The inner and outer walls of the annulus have openings which are closed by removable plugs during reactor operation and serving for introducing tools and instruments. (UA)

Der Anspruch bezieht sich auf eine Ringraumanordnung, die zur Erreichung eines gleichmaessigen Temperaturprofiles (zur Vermeidung oertlicher Ueberhitzung) unterhalb eines Roehrenspaltofens in einem Heissgaskanal angebracht ist, der die Verbindung zum HTGR herstellt. Neben dem Roehrenspaltofen sind weitere Waermetauscher zur Nutzung der Prozesswaerme angeordnet. In der Innenwand des Ringraumes sind strahlenabsorbierende Substanzen eingelagert (Bor). Innen- und Aussenwand des Ringraumes enthalten Oeffnungen, die waehrend des Reaktorbetriebes durch herausnehmbare Stopfen verschlossen sind und der Einbringung von Werkzeugen und Instrumenten dienen.
