Long-range interaction in atomic collisions: polarization of emitted light
Description
The three-year progress in investigation of the quantum-mechanical phase interference phenomena in slow atomic collisions is reviewed. The phase interference of the quasimolecular inelastic states provides now a powerful means for a quantitative understanding of the dynamic of inelastic atomic scattering. (Auth.)
