Description
The new kind of cluster quasi-elastic knock-out experiments is proposed. Microscopic approach, where the operator of reaction is expressed through the nucleon variables, is used for calculations. Glauber-Sitenko multipole scattering theory provides a basis of such approach. The main elements of the general formalism are exposed, including the theoretical technique of the cluster spectroscopic amplitudes and the distorted wave approximation. The reaction 12C(p, pα)8Be is considered in details. It shows strong dependence of momentum distributions of recoil nucleus 8Be in each state 0+, 2+, 4+ on both the scattering angle of the fast proton and orientation angles of the recoil momentum with respect to the direction of the incident beam and to the scattering plane of the fast proton. 41 refs.; 9 figs.; 2 tabs
