Phase transitions in the magnetoelastic crystals of CsDy1-xGdx(MoO)2

Description
Based on the ultrasound data and the temperature evolution of the absorption spectra, the phase diagram of the crystals CsDy1-xGdx(MoO4)2 was studied and the distortions due to the Jahn -Teller pseudo effect was discussed. It is shown, that the doping of the crystal causes several lines to appear in the x -T-phase diagram. It is found that one of the phase transition is considerably defined by the magnetoelastic interaction
