KIT support to the development of the thermal-hydraulics and fuel pin mechanics modules of the ASTEC-Na code system
Description
The JASMIN project of the 7th European Framework programme aims at developing a new computer code system, ASTEC-Na, capable of evaluate the consequences of unprotected accidents in sodium-cooled fast reactors (Ref. 1). At KIT-INR code validation is supported on two levels. First step is to check the thermal hydraulics model and second step is to validate the pin behaviour models.
