Use of rocess instrumentation for the prediction of environmental WER-440 radioactivity NPPt with W
Creators
Description
Problem of rapid prediction (prediction for the nearest several hours of NPP operation) of environmental radioactivity at NPP with WEER-440 has been considered. Suggested is a system consisting of two detectors for control of can tightness according to delayed neutrons located in series on one loop (on a hot leg at a distance of 10.8 m from the reactor vessel and on a cold leg at a distance of 7 m from the reactor vessel) and placed in pairs on three odd loops. Example of the similar system operation at the first unit of the Kol'sk NPP is given. Usability of the system suggested for rapid prediction of changing environmental radioactivity NPP with WWER-440 using Nsub(c)/Nsub(h) ratio, where Nsub(c)-counting rate of delayed neutron detector on the cold leg, Nsub(h)-counting rate of the detector on the hot leg, is shown
