Minimum bias event multiplicities

Creators

Description

In an attempt to compare the gross features of Isajet and the Lund simulation codes a sample of 100 events at a number of energies was generated. They were generated as minimum bias events. The charged particle multiplicities were histogramed and determined. The results are summarized. There is reasonably good agreement at lower energies (especially at the CERN collider), the two models differ by about a factor of two when they are extrapolated to the SSC
