Revelation of heavy ion tracks in olivine and its problems
- 1. Academia Sinica, Beijing, BJ (China). Inst. of Atomic Energy

Description
The revelation of heavy ion tracks in olivine after partial annealing has been studied by the TINT technique. Large variations of mean volume track lengths have been found for the given ion and annealing conditions. The phenomena may be attributed to the different orientations of tracks with respect to the crystallographic system
