Recent advances in thermal hydraulics modelling for the CATHARE code
Description
This paper presents recent advances in thermalhydraulic modelling for the CATHARE code. It is focussed on three main topics, the oscillatory reflooding, the CCFL prediction, and the effect of a noncondensable gas on condensation. For all these topics, the phenomena are described, the modelling shortcomings are pointed out and the new developments are briefly presented with the associated experimental data base. Calculations of analytical or system tests are also compared to previous predictions. (author)
