Description

The Ar resonant Auger spectra have been recorded in Raman conditions at a photon energy of 249 eV corresponding to the Ar 2p1/2→ 3d excitation. The high experimental resolution allowed us to resolve the fine structure in the resonant Auger spectra in much greater detail than obtained previously. Experimental individual angular anisotropy β parameter values of the Ar 2p-11/23d → 3p4nl transitions are compared with the results of theoretical calculations carried out in a multi-configuration Dirac-Fock approach with different configuration expansions
