Anomalies in the inferior vena cava on computerized tomography

Description
Contrast-enhanced computerized tomography of the retroperitoneum permits the pertinent vascular and non-vascular structures to be reliably evaluated. This is an absolute prerequisite of an accurate diagnosis of any vascular anomalies occurring here and their distinction from pathological changes like lymphadenopathy. (orig.)

Kontrastmittelgestuetzte computertomographische Untersuchungen des Retroperitoneums ermoeglichen eine klare Diagnostik vaskulaerer und nichtvaskulaerer Strukturen. Nur in Kenntinis der verschiedenen Gefaessanomalien kann eine sichere Abgrenzung gegenueber pathologischen Prozessen wie Lymphadenopathien erfolgen. (orig.)Additional details
