On the effect of the stress ratio on the development of fatigue and quasi-static fracture under low-cycle loading
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Problem Prochnosti
Description
The paper presents results of studies in the effect of the stress ratio on ductility, strength and cyclic life of 15Kh2NMFA steel and VT9 alloy. It is shown that in the studied life range bends whose coordinates depend on the stress ratio are observed in the limiting fatigue and steady-state velocity curves. It is established that with an increase.in the alternating loading amplitude under constant σsub(max) the process of cyclic creep is intensified. Analytical dependences are given for calculating cyclic life of the studied materials in the range of 0.5-5x105 cycles
