Computer storage of data obtained in the measurement of radium in vivo
Creators
Description
The Center for Human Radiobiology Information System is a computer-based information storage and retrieval system for data collected in the radium toxicity project. A computer file called VVRA has been created as part of CHRIS to contain the results of the measurements of radium in vivo. The following information is entered for each subject: CHR case number, height, weight, date and location of measurement, a coded description of the measurement technique, the estimated amounts of 226Ra and/or 228Ra in the body, and errors of precision and of accuracy to indicate the significance of the reported amounts. The patient's name is excluded from the VVRA. (U.S.)
