Fundamentals of radiosynoviorthesis (RSO)
Description
The advantage offered by radiosynoviorthesis as compared to syovectomy is that the injections are given in the out-patient department, several joints can be treated at the same time, and no rehabilitation is required, so that the treatment is suitable for inoperable patients. The advantage of the synovectomy, on the other hand, is that reconstructive measures can be applied at the same time at the joint, and releaving treatment can be applied if tendosynovitis is involved. Abstract (German)
(Orig./AJ)Additional details
