Complexing of molybdenum (6) with pyrocatechin violet on surface of silica sorbent with chemically bound propylamine groups

Description
Complexing of molybdenum (6) on the surface of silica with grafted groups of propylamine has been investigated. It is shown that the optimal range of Mo6+ extraction from solutions by the sorbent corresponds to pH 1.8-3. The method of quantitative determination of Mo6+ by the method of diffusional reflection has been developed. The determination limit is 2 μg per 0.2 g of the sorbent
