Description
Stratification pattern of Jatiluhur reservoir water has been conducted using natural isotopes technique and the accompanied in situ parameters, i.e., dissolved oxygen and temperature of reservoir water. The study was conducted by sampling of water from different depths for two periods of times which was in July and September 2004. For each collected sample, the parameters dissolved oxygen and temperature were measured in situ while the oxygen-18 content was analyzed in the Laboratory of PATIR-BATAN in Jakarta. The results show the existence of stratification in the reservoir especially in the middle part of the reservoir where the depth is generally >16 m. This can identified clearly. (author)
