Localized Nonlinear Dust Kinetic Alfven Waves in a Two-Ion-Temperature Dusty Plasma

Localized nonlinear dust kinetic Alfven waves are investigated in a collisionless two-ion-temperature dusty plasma consisting of a negatively charged, extremely massive, cold dust fluid and ions of two different temperatures. It is found that finite amplitude density dips and humps propagating at sub-Alfvenic speed can coexist. Further, at super-Alfvenic speed, kink type solitons are also found to exist along with density humps. It has been shown that the properties of these solitary waves are significantly modified by their speed, obliqueness, the presence of second component of ions and the ratio of temperatures of the two ion species. The results of the present investigation would be useful in understanding the formation of coherent soliton structures in laboratory, space and astrophysical dusty plasma systems, such as in the planetary rings and cometary tails
