Low-temperature behavior of a Pauli-potential Lagrangian

Description
Pauli potentials provide a useful alternative to Pauli blocking in transport modeling of nuclear collisions at energies on the order of the Fermi energy. A Lagrangian version of the Pauli potential was recently explored in order to display the differences between the canonical and kinematic quantities. In the present work we fix the parameters in our model by requiring that its energy match that of a Fermi gas at low temperatures. The behavior of the energy as a function of temperature is quadratic rather than linear as in other models. Because the parameters of our Pauli potential need no refitting upon addition of nucleon-nucleon interactions, we envision the use of this potential in a variety of simulations where low-temperature thermodynamic properties play an important role
