Time-resolved measurement scheme and the application to synchrotron X-ray and XFEL experiments. Introduction to the special issue

  • 1. University of Hyogo, Graduate School of Material Science, Kamigori, Hyogo (Japan)

Description

Time-resolved and time-elapse experiments for dynamics studies using synchrotron radiation X-rays and X-ray free electron lasers (XFEL) are reviewed especially on the obtainable information and target phenomenon as a warm-up of the special issue. The features of the light sources and the measurement technique are explained to indicate the corresponding articles in the issue. The future perspective is also described. (author)
