Towards gamma ray lens?

Description

As gamma rays have the highest frequencies, they were supposed not to be deviated by matter, but a German team has just noticed such a deviation by using a silicon prism. The article recalls the works which leaded to the development of lens for X ray deviation by refraction and briefly presents the results recently obtained by the Laue-Langevin Institute by using a silicon prism. Applications could concern medicine or astronomy
