On magnetic losses in annealed ribbons of Fe81B13Si4C2 amorphous alloy

Description
The influence of annealing in the range of 300-520 deg C on magnetic losses in Fe81B13Si4C2 amorphous alloy has been studied. It is ascertained that magnetic losses are theminimum ones at the temperature of annealing 360-390 deg C and 440 deg C. It is shown that decrease in magnetic losses can be caused not only by relaxation of quenching stresses but also by partial surface crystallization of the alloy
