The process 3 He + p ->4 He = π+ on the polarized hydrogen target as an analyzer of the 3 He polarization

Description

The cross section dependence of the process 3 He + p -> 4 He + π+ on the 3 He and proton polarization vectors is investigated. It is shown that the reaction p(3 He;, 4 He)π+ on the polarized hydrogen target can be used for measuring the 3He polarization. (author.). 8 refs
