Interface for Mossbauer spectrometer

An interface is described that allows the Elektronika-60M microcomputer to acquire Mossbauer-spectrometer data. The interface uses asynchronous programmable exchange and has four registers with programmable access. Data are accumulated in 1024, 512, 256 and 128 channels. Spectra can be displayed on a video monitor with a variable ordinate-axis scale. An exchange cycle takes 35 microsec. Practical use of the interface has shown that it is reliable, simple to adjust, and convenient to use.
