Description
Direct and indirect factors of the environmental impact of energy production processes are considered. The data on the pollution of the atmosphere by both the radioactive and nonradioactive injurious wastes are given. The calculation results of dose commitments for the population of the EEC countries in 1985 and 2000 due to global circulation of noxious substances, are presented in tables. The comparison of the environmental impact of NPP and TPP has shown the essential advantages of nuclear power industrty as regards a traditional one
