Connection of oxygen atom dynamics and oxidation kinetics of solid solutions based on Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8

Description
The kinetics of the Bi1.3Pb0.8Sr2Ca0.8Y0.2Cu2O8+δ solid solutions oxidation at different temperatures and pO2 = 0.21 atm is studied through the thermography method and compared with the earlier studied case for the Bi1.5Pb0.6Sr2CaCu2O8+δ solid solutions. It is established that replacement of Ca by Y significantly delays the initial stage of the process, connected with the oxygen diffusion. The phonon spectra of the above-mentioned solid solutions are studied through the method of the neutrons inelastic scattering. The possible model of the interrelationship of the observed differences in the high-frequency parts of the phonon state density spectra (> 50 meV) in the yttrium-containing and nonyttrium solid solutions with differences in the oxidation kinetics is proposed
Abstract (Russian)
Кинетика окисления твердых растворов Bi1.3Pb0.8Sr2Ca0.8Y0.2Cu2O8+δ при различных температурах и pO2 = 21 атм исследована методом термогравиметрии и сопоставлена с ранее исследованным случаем твердых растворов Bi1.5Pb0.6Sr2CaCu2O8+δ. Обнаружено, что замещение Ca на Y значительно замедляет начальную стадию процесса, связанную с кислородной диффузией. Методом неупругого рассеяния нейтронов исследованы фононные спектры указанных твердых растворов. Предложена возможная модель взаимосвязи наблюдаемых различий в высокочастотных частях спектров плотности фононного состояния (> 50 мэВ) в иттрийсодержащих и безиттриевых твердых растворах с различиями в их кинетике окисленияAdditional details
