Study of 142Nd in a (n, n'γ) reaction

Description
The spectra, angular distributions, and linear polarizations of γ rays from an (n, n'γ) reaction with fast reactor neutrons are measured. The diagram of energy levels and γ transitions is constructed for 142Nd. The spin-parities are determined for a number of levels, and the multipole-mixing ratio δ is found in many γ transitions. The system of levels that is presented for 142Nd is stated to be complete up to E1ev=3.2 MeV
