Activity measurements of 125I: international comparison (June 1988)
Description
Participation in an international intercomparison of activity measurements of an 125I solution is described. The activity was measured using four methods, three based on photon counting and one on 4πe-X liquid scintillation coincidence counting. Formulae were derived for each of the photon counting methods to estimate the standard deviation of the activity. The results of the National Accelerator Centre measurements are compared with those of the other laboratories which participated in the comparison. 9 figs., 12 tabs., 12 refs
