Description
In this experimental work a method for variation of complex degree of spatial coherence of a monochromatic light field is presented. The monochromatic light field which is partially coherent is produced by passing a focused laser beam through a rotating ground glass plate. By increasing the distance between rotating ground glass and focal point of the laser beam, i.e. increasing the illuminated area on the rotating ground glass, it was possible to decrease the complex degree of spatial coherence
