Description
Iodine saturation of the thyroid is an efficient preventive treatment of people at risk of developing thyroid cancer due to high exposure to ionizing radiation. Therefore, the authors strongly recommend to put this treatment on the list of standard preventive action in Germany, and for any age group. (orig./CB)
