Description

Highlights: • ALK+ and EGFR+ lung adenocarcinomas have distinctive features captured by radiomics. • The proposed model can be useful for simultaneous prediction of ALK and EGFR status. • The proposed model incorporating radiomics showed added value to the clinical model. • Adding peritumoral radiomics did not improve the diagnostic performance of models. To develop and validate a CT-based radiomic model to simultaneously diagnose anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) rearrangements and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation status of lung adenocarcinoma and to assess whether peritumoural radiomic features add value in the prediction of mutation status.
