Infiltrative hematoma of the porta hepatis and the gallbladder wall. Ultrasonographic and computed tomographic aspects

Description

A case of infiltrative hematoma of the porta hepatis and the gallbladder wall is reported. It is a rare complication of anticoagulant treatment. The sonographics findings were an echogenic material surrounding the porta hepatis, and a gallbladder wall thickening. Both these lesions appeared as dense areas on computed tomography (CT) scan. The aetiologies of hemorrhagic cholecystitis are discussed

Abstract (French)

L'atteinte hemorragique du pedicule hepatique et de la paroi vesiculaire est une complication rare du traitement anticoagulant. On rapporte un cas et on decrit l'aspect echographique et tomodensitometrique realise: presence d'une structure echogene et dense en TDM entourant le pedicule hepatique avec epaississement de la paroi vesiculaire, chez une patiente presentant des douleurs aigues, et spontanees de l'hypocondre droit. Les differentes etiologies des cholecystites hemorragiques sont evoquees
