A bench for radiation test with the use of bremsstrahlung

Description
On the basis of the technological electron accelerator LU-10 (10 MeV, 10 kW) it is created the stand, allowing to make an irradiation of product samples the developed stream of brake radiation. The method of computer modelling on the basis of program system PENELOPE-2008 investigates characteristics of the mixed field e, H radiations along a path of its formation for the real and optimised variants of target devices of the accelerator. Conditions of maintenance of a maximum of the factor of secondary radiation and are defined its demanded geometrical sizes. The experimental research of a profile of a stream of brake radiation and capacity of the absorbed dose is spent. In the field of a working field 20x40 cm its average value makes sm 6.8 kgr/hour at heterogeneity no more than 8 %. The received experimental data will well be co-ordinated with results of modelling. As an example use of the stand for tests of radiating firmness of samples of the electrotechnical equipment of nuclear stations is resulted.
