On the problem of unboundedness from below of the spinor QED Hamiltonian

Description

It is show that the Hamiltonian HQED + H2, where HQED is the spinor QED Hamiltonian and H2 is the positive transversal photon mass term, is unbounded from below if the electromagnetic coupling constant e2 is small enough, e2 < e02, and the transversal photon squared mass parameter M2 is not large: 0 < M2 < ce2(1 - e2/e02)l2, here, l is the cut-off parameter; and c and e02, positive constants which do not depend on any parameters. 7 refs
