Nonperturbative approaches to atomic and molecular multi-photon processes in intense laser fields

Description

In this paper several generalized semiclassical Floquet formalisms and quasi-energy methods recently developed for ab initio nonperturbative treatment of the nonlinear dynamical behavior of atoms and molecules in intense periodic or multi-color laser fields are presented. Applications to intense field multiphoton excitation, ionization, and dissociation as well as to intensity-dependent nonlinear optical processes are discussed
