Some characteristics of titanium and palladium samples used in cold fusion experiments

Description
There is a lack of data on the state of the sample after the experiments. These data may shed some light on the process that leads to nuclear reactions. In this paper an attempt is made to relate the composition and surface morphology of deuterides to the observed anomalous nuclear events
