Probability distribution function of magnetohydrodynamic plasmas
Description
The probability distribution function of two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic plasma is studied with particular interest in the tail end. It is believed to be related to the intermittent behavior in turbulent plasmas. With the inclusion of the lowest-order effect of nonlinear interactions, it is shown that the tail distribution follows an exponential function instead of a Gaussian profile
