Optimization of xenon transient processes in a reactor. Problem on maximum energy release
Description
Solution of a problem is suggested for maximum energy release in the xenon transient process in the reactor without limitations in respect to phase variables with a preset period of the transient process. Based upon numerical calculations and a maximum principle a conclusion has been made that a three-phase regime is most optimum. It is shown incomplete Hamiltonian is positive in the maximum energy release problem whereas phase classical trajectories are arranged below the classical trajectory of the fast response problem. The maximum principle has been employed for checking regime optimization
