Post-examination of the test fuel rods DT 50 and DT 51 from the irradiation experiment LV 9.3 - E 40
Description
Automatic translation: As part of a co-operation agreement between Brazil and Germany, 2 test fuel rods produced by Nuclebras were irradiated with UO2 fuel pellets in the FRJ2 and analysed in the BZL. This report summarises the results of the NU. The objective of the irradiation test was to gain experience in the manufacture and and control of the fuel rods as well as for the follow-up examination and evaluation by Nuclebras. For this reason, all the usual standard follow-up examinations were carried out, in some cases with the assistance of an employee from Nuclebras employee. As expected, there were no additional follow-up examinations over and above those required for numerous results beyond those of numerous similar investigations.
Abstract (German)
Im Rahmen eines Zusammenarbeitsvertrages Brasilien - BRD wurden 2 durch Nuclebras hergestellte Testbrennstäbe mit UO2 -Brennstofftabletten im FRJ2 bestrahlt und im BZL nachuntersucht. Dieser Bericht gibt die Ergebnisse der NU wieder. Die Zielsetzung für den Bestrahlungsversuch lag darin, Erfahrungen für Herstellung und Kontrolle der Brennstäbe sowie bei der Nachuntersuchung und Auswertung durch Nuclebras zu sammeln. Es erfolgten deshalb alle üblichen Standardnachuntersuchungen und z.T. unter Mitwirkung eines Mitarbeiters von Nuclebras. Es ergaben sich erwartungsgemäß keine zusätzlichen über die bei zahlreichen gleichartigen Untersuchungen hinausgehenden Nachuntersuchungsergebnisse.Files
