Description
It is suggested to explain and predict the physical characteristics of perovskite type oxides in the framework of the close-coupling approximation including only p orbitals of 0 and d orbitals of metal atoms. It was shown that the optical properties of both the dielectric and metallic perovskites equally with the optical and conductivity properties of defect perovskites can be accurately described in the framework of this model
