Analysis of the various encountered difficulties and solutions brought up by experience concerning the French 900 MW PWR maintenance. Presentation of the qualified equipments and personnels, the regulations in force, study of the various types of scheduled or casual shutdowns, and the respective maintenance operations (refueling, inspection of the turbine-generator set, replacement of the vapor generator, repair of pumps etc...), study of different possibilities in order to improve and increase the power plant availability: enhanced supervising with robots, cameras, non destructive control, repairs with continuous operation, reconditioned spare, a better organization and planning of the inspections, of the work teams..

Abstract (French)

Analyse des problemes rencontres par EDF et les solutions apportees par le retour d'experience concernant la maintenance des tranches REP 900 MW. Presentation des equipements, des personnels qualifies et des reglementations en vigueur, etude des differents types d'arrets programmes ou non et des operations de maintenance qui leur sont liees (renouvellement du combustible, visite du groupe turbo-alternateur remplacement des generateurs de vapeur, intervention sur les pompes, etc..); etude des possibilites d'amelioration et d'augmentation de la disponibilite grace au perfectionnement des controles (robots, cameras, controles non destructifs) et des reparations (systemes d'echange standard, ...), a une meilleure organisation et planification des visites, des groupes de travail
