Left-right-symmetric, superstring-inspired models

Description
The possibility of low-energy scale-breaking of the (L--R)-symmetry is studied for d=10 E8 x E'8 superstring theory with the gauge groups E6 and SO(10) as the grand unification groups. Calabi-Yaumani folds with b/sub 1,1/ =1 and b/sub 1,1/>1 leading to models with four and three generations are studied
