High-level waste minimization in large-scale nuclear power of Russia at the phaseout stage
- 1. Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij i Konstruktorskij Inst. Ehnergotekhniki, Moscow (Russian Federation)
Description
The problems connected with determination of the strategy for long-living high-level radioactive waste management in the modern nuclear power engineering are investigated. The variant of changing nuclear energy of power production for any one else in the case of depleted (tailing) and regenerated uranium resource complete utilization is discussed. The possibility of decreasing the debalance in long-living wastes and raw materials activity is estimated
