γ energy spectrum parameters and gold ore prospecting

γ-Spectrometric survey is a simple, effective and fast technique. The different type gold ore bears the different features of γ energy spectrum. The vein gold ore related to plutonic vein rock activities have clearly anomaly of γ energy spectrum K/U parameter; the gold ore related to intermediate-acid intrusive which emplaced in media-shallow crust have positive anomaly of K/U and K/Th parameters; the hydrothermal breccia gold ore related to subalkaline-alkaline complex which emplaced in shallow-super shallow part of crust have the similar positive anomaly of U, K, Th and F parameter. By using the different γ energy spectrum parameters, a method introduced, the authors have acquired the good effect in prospecting gold ore in Rushan region, eastern Shandong, and western Linyi
