Application of the electromagnetic separation of isotopes to the study of the 390 keV isomeric transition of technetium
Description
The isotopic separation of technetium produced by bombardment of a molybdenum target with 6.7 MeV deuterons was carried out. The study of the radiation emitted by the 92, 93 and 94 mass isotopes leads to definitively assign to 93Tc a 390 keV M4 isomeric transition. Reprint of a paper published in 'Comptes Rendus des Seances de l'Academie des Sciences', t. 288, sitting of Feb 15, 1954, p. 791-793.
Abstract (French)
On a effectue la separation isotopique du technetium produit par bombardement d'une cible de molybdene avec des deuterons de 6,7 MeV. L'etude du rayonnement emis par les isotopes de masses 92, 93 et 94 conduit a attribuer definitivement a 93Tc une transition isomerique M4 de 390 keV.
